National Weather Service issues new winter weather advisory for Highland County
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Highland and surrounding counties from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6.
Snow is expected, with total new snow accumulations of up to two inches with locally higher amounts. The advisory includes portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest and west central Ohio.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

Friday – Snow, mainly before 2 p.m. High near 35. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
