Mini Business Expo March 21

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the fifth annual Mini Business Expo will be Thursday, March 21 from 5-7 p.m. at Weastec, Inc., located at 1600 N. High Street in Hillsboro.

“We’d like to invite the general public to stop by the event on Thursday for a glimpse of what Highland County businesses have to offer this year,” said Melissa Elmore, president of the Highland County Chamber of Commerce.

“Businesses from across Highland County will showcase a wide variety of goods and services that are available right here in our community.”

There are many opportunities for consumers to support our local businesses and this event brings many of them together for a real showcase of our county.

Many of the businesses participating will also be giving away a door prize which will promote the goods or services they provide.

The Mini Business Expo at Weastec is open from 5-7 p.m. and is free to attend. It is a Highland County Chamber of Commerce event which allows chamber members to share what they have to offer to other businesses and the general public.

“By focusing on goods and services available locally, we can demonstrate the variety of goods and services that our local business community offers. We also have a chance to introduce consumers to the importance of the SHOP LOCAL concept and to answer any questions they may have,” said Elmore.

The Mini Business Expo is open to the community and everyone is invited to stop by and see what Highland County businesses have to offer. Attendance is free and no reservations are required.
