McClain participates in Honor Band; readies for Opening Day Parade

Brigitta Shultz, James Knisley and Madison Knisley were representative of the Greenfield McClain Band Program at the District 16 Honor Band Concert held at Waverly High School.

Brigitta played first-chair tenor sax.

James played tuba for the high school group.

Madison played flute for the middle school group.

All three worked very hard on the music to put on an excellent concert.

MHS band to play
in Opening Day parade

The McClain Marching Tiger Band and Tigerettes are getting geared up to march in Monday's Opening Day Parade at Findlay Market in Cincinnati.

It will be the band's first time to do this parade.

The band is under the direction of Charlie Hargrave and assisted by David Weaks.

The Tigerettes are advised by Tati Weaks.

Field Commander for the band this year is Beth McCloud and the assistant is Brigitta Shultz.

Tigerette Captains are Marissa Hike and Kylie Stroud.

The band will be playing "Glory Days," "Dancing in the Street" and "I Want You Back."

The parade is on Channels 5 and 12 and starts at noon on Monday, April 1.
