Laurel Oaks students install new brick markers at Veterans Memorial

Masonry students from Shawn Wilkin's classes at Laurel Oaks were busy installing new bricks and markers at the Veterans Memorial outside the Highland County Courthouse Friday, Oct. 25.

George Stewart of Hillsboro VFW Post 9094 thanked the students for their efforts, saying the new work was scheduled ahead of the 2013 Veterans Day program next month.

Memorial bricks in recognition of a Highland County veteran are available by contacting the Hillsboro VFW Post 9094 at 393-0211.
