Karen Trout's sixth book of poetry is now available in town at M & W Books and The Shabby Moose in Hillsboro.

Trout, a local educator, has been featured in two magazines this summer. "Early American Life Magazine" featured the garden in their present/August issue and "Heart of Ohio Magazine" featured her poetry books and photographs in their summer issue.

"They also talked about the garden visit I do each year with my second grade students at St. Mary Catholic School," Trout told The Highland County Press. "They come out and do art in the garden each May."

Both issues are on stands now.

Early American Life is available online at http://ealonline.com/sources/1108/trout.php.
