HPD investigating North High robbery

By
-

The Hillsboro Police Department is investigating an incident involving an alleged theft at a North High business late Thursday.

At approximately 10:35 p.m. Jan. 17, an employee of a North High restaurant reported that as he was walking to his car after closing the business, an unknown male approached him, with his "face concealed and posed physically, as if to have a weapon pointed at the employee," the HPD said.

The man then ordered the employee to hand over a bank bag and lie on the ground. The employee did as ordered and the man fled on foot.
