Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Volunteer Training Program Feb. 10
A training program for people willing to donate their time and talents to the Hospice of Hope program will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley office in Mt. Orab. The orientation will include short lectures and discussion outlining our volunteer program and the services provided by Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley.
No job is too big or too small for our volunteers. Often the most important thing a volunteer can do is be there for patients, reassuring them they are not alone, holding a hand, offering a smile, or lending an ear. It's your choice. The rewards are enormous. Some of the services provided by our Hospice of Hope Volunteers are visiting patients at home, in the hospital, nursing home or our Inpatient Center, transporting a patient to doctor appointments, assisting in the office with clerical tasks, or joining our flower garden club.
