OSU BAND MEMBER – Mike T. Johnson, a 2008 graduate of Hillsboro High School, has been selected to be a member of the Ohio State University marching band in the sousaphone section. This is the second year Mike has achieved this honor, winning a spot last year in his freshman year at Ohio State University. It has long been Mike’s dream to dot the “i” during an OSU football game, a time-honored tradition which is reserved for only fourth- and fifth-year members of the sousaphone section. Currently, Mike is pursuing a degree in pre-dentistry. He maintained a 3.7 GPA during his freshman year, achieving a 4.0 GPA during spring quarter, and is setting his sights on dotting the “i” in the fall of 2011.[[In-content Ad]]
