The Hillsboro Police Department has released the following reports from the weekend.

• On Oct. 6 at 10:10 p.m., HPD responded to an altercation at Ye Olde Tavern on Belfast Pike. It was determined that a domestic dispute led to glass being broken and minor cuts to Sharon Rice, 46, of Xenia. Ruthann Filmore, 45, of Hillsboro was charged with assault. Philip Cousins, 43, of Xenia was charged with disorderly conduct.

• On Oct. 8 at 2:56 p.m., HPD responded to a report of an argument between two men that led to one of the men driving a vehicle into the front porch of a residence in the 500 block of North West Street, Hillsboro. The vehicle then left the scene. The driver's identity was not immediately determined, the HPD said. The incident remains under investigation.

• On Oct. 8, HPD investigated a two-vehicle crash in the 400 block of Vine Street. A 2001 Chevrolet driven by Michael Waters, 37, of Hillsboro, backed from a driveway and struck a parked 2000 Chevrolet owned by Rich Bunner, 38, of Greenfield. There were no injuries.

• On Oct. 8, HPD investigated a deer-vehicle crash on U.S. 62 south. A 1994 Dodge operated by Sheena Drake, 20, of Hillsboro was northbound on U.S. 62 when a deer ran into her path. No injuries were reported (except to the deer).[[In-content Ad]]
