The following incidents have been reported by the Hillsboro Police Department:
On March 25, Amanda Masters of Hillsboro, driving a 2001 Chevrolet, was attempting to back from a driveway in the 600 block of South East Street and backed onto the street and hit a northbound 1991 Geo that was being driven by Jackie Lilly of Seaman. Masters was cited for failure to yield.
Donald Stout of Hillsboro, driving a 1995 BMW, was traveling westbound on West Main Street and struck a 2002 Chrysler that was stopped in traffic and was driven by Canady Kimberly. Stout was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
On March 25, the Hillsboro Wal-Mart reported they had a female that had left the store without paying for items she had concealed in her purse. Felisha Coonrod of Piketon was arrested for shoplifting.
