Hillsboro Police Report

These incidents have been reported by the HPD.

January 29

Ronald Meyer, 56, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

Tucker Adams, 18, of Hillsboro was cited for peeling out.

Jesse Allen, 33, of Xenia was cited for driving under suspension. 

On Jan. 29 at 11:35 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to East Walnut Street in the area of Johnson Street a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Glenn Arledge, 63, of Seaman was traveling westbound on East Walnut Street nearing the intersection of Johnson Street when he came to a stop. 

Sanchez Seals, 24, of Hillsboro was also traveling westbound on East Walnut Street behind Arledge when he failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead and struck Arledge in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene. Seals was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
