Highland County TEA Party welcomes Eric Deters Aug. 1

Highland County Press columnist and 700 WLW Radio talk show host Eric “The Bulldog” Deters will be the guest speaker at the Monday, Aug. 1 meeting of the Highland County TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party at the Colony Theatre in uptown Hillsboro, said Highland County TEA Party President Ken Ludwick.

It was previously announced that this event would be held at the Hi-TEC Center; however, Ludwick said, the TEA Party is anticipating a larger audience and the event will be at the Colony.

A practicing attorney, Deters is a member of: the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association.

He graduated Covington Latin School in 1979, Thomas More College in 1983 and the Chase College of Law in 1986.

He was voted Best Lawyer in Cincinnati in 2010.

• Also, the Highland County TEA  Party June meeting will be held June 6 at 7 p.m. at the Hi-TEC building, 1575 N. High Street in Hillsboro.

Following a short business meeting, Chris Littleton and Mike Wilson from the Ohio Liberty Council will update the group on the Ohio Project.

The Ohio Project is a grassroots effort of Ohio citizens to bring a proposed state constitution amendment to Ohio’s November 2011 ballot in order to preserve the freedom of Ohioans to choose their healthcare and health insurance.

Littleton and Wilson will be available following their presentation to answer questions about the Ohio Project and related issues. The public is invited to what promises to be an interesting and informative meeting.[[In-content Ad]]
