Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

April 25

A Resident of the 1800 block of state Route 73 reported trash dumped on their property. This incident remains under investigation.

A resident of the 7500 block of Evans Road reported the theft of a Caterpillar 259 D3 skid steer and a tandem axle trailer.

A deputy responded to the 11000 block of Dundee Drive after a report of a stolen vehicle. 

After investigation, Trevor W. Gibson, 30, of Hillsboro and Seth S. Elliott, 26, of Hillsboro were each charged with receiving stole property.

A resident of the 11000 block of Highland Hills Drive reported vandalism.

Tyler R. Tharp, 29, of Greenfield, driving under suspension, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Misael P. Chagala, 27, of Hillsboro, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass.

James D. Freeman Jr., 59, of Mowrystown, failure to appear.

Khadijan N. Payne, 29, of Hillsboro, driving under suspension.

William R. Penix, 41, of Hillsboro, driving under suspension, operating vehicle without a valid license plate.
