Highland County Firefighters Association hosts 10th annual Kroger Klassic Car Show

Vintage cars were on display as the Highland County Firefighters Association held their 10th annual Kroger Klassic Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The annual event, held in the Hobart parking lot in Hillsboro, was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 27, but was postponed due to rain.

The show was sponsored by numerous businesses as well as some private citizens this year.

Registration started at noon, with judging starting around 2 p.m.

"This is our biggest fundraiser for the association, as it funds the association for the next year," HCFFA President Jay Post said prior to the event.

Departments in the HCFFA include: Hillsboro, Paint Creek, Highland County North (Leesburg), Lynchburg, Southern Highland (Mowrystown), Brush Creek Fire, Marshall Fire, Peebles Fire, Brush Creek EMS, Fayetteville Fire, Clinton/Highland Fire District and Bainbridge Fire Department.
