Highland County Fair Week under way

The 2013 Highland County Fair is in full swing this week, as area livestock has arrived, 4-H projects are set up and the midway attractions and food booths are open and ready to serve.

Among the many Labor Day happenings were showmanship classes, animal weigh-ins, the Junior Fair Horse Show and many other popular events.

The county barrow show is 6 p.m. Monday and the open class barrow show is at 7:30 p.m.

The Highland County Fair continues through Saturday, Sept. 7.
