The Highland County Sheriff's Office will hold a drug awareness class May 16 at 7 p.m. at the AMVETS on North Shore Drive.
The class will be approximately two hours long and will include a PowerPoint slide program. All Rocky Fork and Paint Township residents currently living around the lake are welcome to attend. The program is geared for those 18 years and older and is designed to help adults know the signs of dependency in children and the community.
The class will also cover manufacturing, distributing and more. A previous class that was conducted by the HCSO had high attendance.
