HCHS members speak at Board of Realtors meeting

With 2014 President Diane Uhl presiding, the Highland County Board of Realtors met Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Hillsboro Ponderosa Banquet Center. 

The guest speakers included Mike McCarty, president of the Highland County Historical Society, and HCHS board chairperson Pamela Nickell.

The society recently held its annual meeting and first meeting after its 2013 re-organization.

The society welcomes new members and suggestions for programs from the community. An application for membership appears on Page 8 of the Saturday, Jan. 25 edition of The Highland County Press.

• NB&T sponsored the Jan. 23 luncheon. Jason A. Phipps, vice president of NB&T Wealth Management Group in Wilmington, discussed the bank and its services as well as current economic conditions. Bob Schaad of NB&T also attended the meeting.
