The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a one-vehicle serious injury crash that occurred Sunday, June 17 just outside Leesburg.

The crash occurred on Bridges Road just south of Centerfield Road outside of Leesburg.

Bradley Faulconer, 27, of Greenfield was driving a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck north on Bridges Road and was traveling too fast when he lost control and slid off of the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, the OSHP said.

Faulconer was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Care Flight where he is listed in critical condition.

The Patrol has determined at this point that speed was a factor, according to the agency's news release.

Lieutenant Aaron L. Gentry, Commander of the Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol states, “The Troopers at the Wilmington Post remain vigilant in their efforts to reduce traffic-related fatalities. We strongly encourage motorists to drive safely and use their seatbelt.”

The crash remains under investigation.
