Greenfield hydrant flush to begin April 27

The Greenfield Water Department will be flushing Fire hydrants, beginning April 27 at 10 p.m.

Residents should expect to see discolored water with a grayish to purple tint.

Residents are advised to let the water run for two to three minutes or until it clears before use. Run clothes washer on a short cycle before doing laundry, especially white laundry. It will cause staining to white clothes. If you continue to experience discolored water or low pressure throughout the weekend please report these problems to the

Greenfield Water Department at (937) 981- 2435.
