A Georgetown man was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and public indecency over the weekend after he allegedly exposed himself at the Highland Terrace Apartments.

According to a release by the Hillsboro Police Department, on Sunday, June 17, the department responded to a call from the apartments, located in the 700 block of North West Street, "in reference to a male subject exposing himself. The subject had previously been barred from the property."

Upon investigation, police located Jeremy P. Fletcher, 25, of Georgetown, walking south on North West Street, away from the apartments.

Fletcher denied the allegations, according to the HPD, saying that he was on the property to visit a resident.

"Fletcher turned and starting walking away," when he was told by the officer that he was under arrest, according to the HPD, "jerking his arm away as (the) officer ordered him to stop."

Fletcher was then taken into custody, and was charged with public indecency, criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.
