Former Lynchburg resident receives Milestone Award for blood donations

Milestone awards were recently given to several area blood donors at a recent blood drive at the Wilmington Church of Christ. Mel Nicholas of Wilmington, formerly of Lynchburg, was presented a plaque for reaching the four-gallon mark in blood donations. The awards were presented by Mary Mink of the Community Blood Center of Dayton.
