Howard L. Eberts, a retired Hillsboro High School teacher of many years, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 6. He was 63.
He was born on March 23, 1947, in Columbus.
Mr. Eberts taught Marketing Education- DECA at Hillsboro High School until his retirement last year.
He had received many awards for his service, including Outstanding Marketing Education Teacher Award from the Ohio state DECA, and he served on numerous state and national DECA committees.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was quite active in the local Hillsboro VFW Post.
