Firefighters battle business fire south of Hillsboro

Firefighters from multiple departments were battling this blaze at the Lowe's Construction business on U.S. 62 south of Hillsboro Thursday morning.

The fire was reported around 9 a.m. and crews from Hillsboro Fire and Rescue and nearby departments are on the scene.

Motorists were restricted to one lane on U.S. 62 between Concord and Dunlap roads, with the Highland County Sheriff's Office maintaining the flow of traffic.
