Festival kicks off in grand fashion | The Highland County Press

Greenfield City Manager Betty Bishop invited the community to attend this year's festival, which is sponsored by the Greenfield Rotary Club, during the opening ceremonies Friday evening.

The Greenfield community festival is held each summer during the third weekend of July, offering visitors a chance to enjoy free entertainment, explore the community’s rich history, renew old friendships and make new ones.

Proceeds from festival events help local organizations to operate for the good of the community.

The festival continues through Sunday, July 22.

The Sunday afternoon parade features grand marshals Rick VanMatre and Dennis Overstake, longtime basketball coaches for the McClain Tigers and Lady Tigers, respectively.
