The Farm energizes 2013 Festival of the Bells

An enthusiastic crowd enjoyed The Farm Inc.'s high-energy, upbeat performance Friday night at the 2013 Festival of the Bells.
After showers off and on throughout the day, there was no rain in sight at the beginning of the concert, as a beautiful sunset could be seen in the sky.
The band, made up of vocalists Nick Hoffman (who also plays fiddle), Damien Horne and Krista Marie, was founded in 2010. The Farm's debut album "The Farm" was released in 2012.
The Farm performed a variety of their hits, including "Be Grateful" and "Home Sweet Home," as well as covers such as Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire," Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" and Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode."

Festival of the Bells committee member and entertainment chairman Rick Williams told The Highland County Press that The Farm "may be the best energetic group ever to come to Hillsboro."
The Festival of the Bells has a history of welcoming rising country music stars, including Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley.
Wade Baker and his band served as the opening act, with a performance that included blues, jazz and rock music.
