County fair-goers enjoy perfect Tuesday weather

A good crowd gathered at the show arena for Tuesday's market barrow show at the 2013 Highland County Fair in Hillsboro, as the mid-week weather is picture perfect for fair week.

The poultry show, junior rabbit showmanship, sheep exhibitor skillathon, and dairy skillathon also were held Tuesday.

The Hall of Fame ceremony is slated for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The demolition derby is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The horse versatility show is set for 5 p.m. Tuesday.

In addition, the beef showmanship and county bred and born steer show will be 6 p.m. Tuesday. At 6:30 p.m., will be the Junior Fair awards presentation.

Wednesday is "free day" at the fair. There will be no admission charge from 8 a.m.-noon. The midway ride tickets are not included in the "free day."
