Second District Representative Brad Wenstrup, R-Cincinnati, visited Greenfield on Friday, Feb. 21 to meet with City Manager Ron Coffey and Councilwoman Brenda Losey in order to get an update on the village and hear from them about which issues are most important to the community.

Wenstrup also spoke with Eric Zint, owner of Corner Pharmacy, a small business in Greenfield about the challenges facing independent community pharmacy owners in southern Ohio.

Wenstrup plans to bring back this type of input to Washington, D.C.

While in town, Wenstrup also had the chance to visit one of Greenfield’s largest employers, Johnson Controls.

During the visit, Wenstrup spoke with employees and learned about the manufacturing of foam for automotive seat interiors.

“As a representative of the people in Ohio’s Second District, I feel it’s important to reach out and continually connect with those I represent, whether it be local businesses, farmers, city officials, or any of my constituents," Wenstrup said.

"I feel it is necessary to be accessible. I have to be able to bring the concerns of my district straight from southern Ohio to Washington, D.C.”
