Drs. Steven and Elizabeth Agabegi, of Cincinnati, have joined the CMH Regional Health System medical staff. Dr. Steven Agabegi is an orthopedic surgeon and Dr. Elizabeth Agabegi is an ophthalmologist, who has joined ophthalmologist Dr. Joe Chen at Eye Services in Wilmington.
Dr. Steven Agabegi is seeing patients every Friday in the CMH Professional Building, Suite 109, 630 W. Main St., Wilmington. He will be sharing office space with Dr. Tom Matrka. Appointments can be made by calling his Cincinnati office at 800-711-1130 or 513-475-8690. He will be performing surgeries at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
In addition to general orthopedics, Dr. Steven Agabegi will also bring spine surgery to Clinton Memorial Hospital. He treats all conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, including spinal stenosis, disc herniations, scoliosis, kyphosis and tumors.
Dr. Agabegi earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Temple University, Philadelphia and graduated from the Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia. He completed his orthopedic residency training program at the University of Cincinnati and his Spine Surgery Fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan.
Dr. Elizabeth Agabegi is practicing at Eye Services, located across from Clinton Memorial Hospital at 671 W. Main St., Wilmington. She sees patients in the office three days a week and will be doing surgeries at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Elizabeth Agabegi graduated from Wheaton College, Ill., with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. She graduated from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati. She does no-stitch cataract surgery, laser treatments, diabetic and glaucoma eye care, treatment for macular degeneration and dry, itchy eyes.
