CMH Home Care Services among National Elite for eighth year in a row

WILMINGTON – November is National Home Care Month and Clinton Memorial Hospital Home Care Services has been recognized nationally among the HomeCare Elite™ for the eighth year in a row, repeating as a Top 500 agency.
HomeCare Elite™ identifies the top agencies from among thousands and CMH Home Care Services is one of less than 200 agencies that have made the list every year since the program started.
Winners are ranked by an analysis of publicly available performance measures in quality outcomes, process measure implementation, patient experience, quality improvement, and financial performance. CMH’s ranking puts it in the top 1 percent of the more than 9,000 agencies that are considered.
“It is a difficult status to maintain and a small percentage of agencies have achieved it all eight years,” says Bonnie Davis, manager of CMH Home Care Services. “I am proud of the home care staff and the excellent care they provide to the patients in our communities. They love what they do and it shows in the outcomes.”
CMH Home Care Services, which recently moved to the Hale Medical Building next to the hospital, serves patients in a six-county area and is Medicare-certified and Joint Commission-accredited. CMH offers home care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week and provides skilled nursing, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, aide and social services.
