Central committee accepting applications for clerk of courts position

The Highland County Republican Party Central Committee is accepting applications and resumés for the position of Highland County Clerk of Courts, following the retirement of Paulette Donley.

Those interested may send a cover letter and resumé to the Highland County Republican Party, P.O. Box 616, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.

According to Highland County Republican Party Central Committee member Dick Counter, the central committee will accept applications through Monday, April 18.

The committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 at the Hi-TEC Center on North High Street in Hillsboro to review applications and conduct interviews.

According to Highland County Prosecutor Jim Grandey, the Highland County Board of Commissioners may appoint an interim clerk after Donley's retirement, which is effective April 15.

Donley announced her retirement at the April 6 commissioners' meeting. She had served as clerk of courts for the past 22 years.[[In-content Ad]]
