Celebration of Life event Oct. 6
The Celebration of Life Event (formerly known as the Walk for Life) is a fundraising event to benefit the Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center. The event goal is: $20,000.
The event is for:
• Walkers (all ages)
• Trikers (ages 2-6)
• Bikers (motorcycles).
The event will be on Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Southern State Community College track.

The morning will include not only the three “events,” but it will also be filled with carnival fun – face-painting, popcorn, peanuts, cotton candy, hot dogs and more.
• Walkers: Registration begins at 9 a.m.; the Walk for Life at 10 a.m.
• Trikers (trikes, big wheels, bikes with training wheels): Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.; Trike for Life at 11:30 a.m.
• Food, fun and fellowship for all at 10:45 a.m.
• Balloon launch at 11:15 a.m.
• Bikers: Registration begins at 10:45 a.m.; Bike for Life at noon.
Prizes
• T-shirt for any walker or biker who raises $150; T-shirt for Trikers who raise $75.
• Walk/Trike lap incentives for children.
• Prizes for the top walkers in the following categories: Youth (ages 12 & under); Teen (ages 13-18); Adult (19 & up) and to the top two money Trikers and Bikers.
