Local optometrist and owner of Buckeye Family Eye Clinic, Inc., Dr. Tausha L. Barton has installed an eco-friendly, state-of-the-art digital lens finishing laboratory.

The highly advanced, fully computerized lens-finishing system from Santinelli International is the first in the industry to fully comply with international Restriction of Hazardous Substances (ROHS) standards. This directive restricts the use of hazardous materials in the global manufacturing of various types of products using electromechanical equipment.

In addition, the system utilizes a water filtration system which, when compared to other methods, drastically reduces water consumption, while collecting particle debris into a filter, allowing for routine recycling.

She is an avid music enthusiast and loves hiking, boating and other outdoor activities. She enjoys volunteering at area schools, performing vision screenings and presenting eye care programs. Dr. Barton resides in Hillsboro with her husband, Brett, daughter, Riley and two sons, Dylan and Logan.
