Brown County soldier killed in Afghanistan

A Brown County soldier has been killed while serving in Afghanistan.
Seth Blevins, of Sardinia, according to the Eastern Local Schools website, was killed. Blevins was a 2008 graduate from Eastern Local Schools, and was serving in the U.S. Army.
"Recently Eastern Local Schools lost one of its alumni. Seth Blevins was killed while serving his county overseas.  Please keep Seth's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers," according to a statement on the district's website.
According to Cincinnati.com, the Blevins family was informed of his death Monday night, and they informed the school district Tuesday morning.
Further information was not immediately available.
