Break-in reported at Hillsboro City Schools offices

The Hillsboro Police Department is investigating criminal damaging that occurred at the Hillsboro City Schools Administration Building on West Main Street.

Superintendent Rick Earley informed the HPD that sometime on the night of Oct. 2 someone broke into the building. Several offices were entered.

Damages were found on seven doors and a desk. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken as well.

The damages were estimated to be approximately $3,112.

If anyone has any information regarding the incident, call the HPD at 393-3411.
