Local 12 in Cincinnati is reporting that a man whose body was found in the Ohio River Thursday was from Highland County.

According to the television station, "The Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Clermont County Sheriff Deputies have pulled the body of a missing fisherman from the Ohio River. Officials tell Local 12 that 63-year-old Greg Bechdolt left Highland County last night to go to Chilo to go fishing.  The man had not been seen since.

"His empty boat was found in the water, wedged up against a Meldahl Dam lock around 8:30 this morning. The lock master came to the Chilo boat ramp and found the man's pickup truck, still running in the parking lot next to the ramp.  Officials called in the Boone County water rescue unit to use their side scan sonar to search the water near the boat ramp. "
