The locally owned antiques, gifts and collectibles shop Back Home, will feature commemorative items for the 2012 Festival of the Bells.

"We'll have Festival suncatchers, pocket knives and screen-printed towels," said owner Betty Walker. "The towels are screen-printed in Hillsboro, and the suncatchers are from Brown County. The pocket knives are made in Kentucky."

Walker said that she had wanted to offer commemorative merchandise, especially since there will not be a 2012 collectible bell due to the closure of the Fenton Glass Foundry.

"I'm really excited because I know a lot of people buy a bell every year," Walker said. "Last year, one of the entertainers came in and asked if we had collectible spoons. I started thinking about what kind of items we could offer."

Walker said that her family buys a towel whenever they go on vacation, which led her to create one for Hillsboro.

"I know a lot of people collected the bells," Walker said. "So I tried to think about the different kind of items people might want, that could appeal to a broad range of people."

The items will be available at the East Main Street store next week.
