Central Ohio’s own Arnett Howard will share his soothing sounds and serve as
the featured entertainment during the 114th Annual Charity Ball, set for
Saturday, December 5 at the Chillicothe Elks Hall. The special evening is
sponsored by the Women’s Board of Adena Health System and is open to the
entire community.
Howard, a multi-faceted musician, teacher and historian, has performed over
five thousand concerts to a variety of audiences in Central Ohio and
throughout the world. He began as a professional musician in 1967 and has
participated in a number of events and recorded a number of compact discs
and tape recordings.
Arnett and his band feature New Orleans-style jazz, Motown/Memphis rhythm
and blues, and contemporary pop and jazz standards.
The evening will kick-off at 7:30 pm with a social hour and silent auction
that will include a number of graciously donated items available for
bidding. The event’s Grand March will take place at 8:45 pm before the
Arnett Howard Band begins their three hour performance.
Tickets for the event are open to the entire community to purchase for $35
each or $70 per couple, and all proceeds will go to the PACCAR Medical
Education Center Study Garden. Inquiries for tickets can be directed to
Dixie Freeman at 740.993.2217. Tickets are also located in Chillicothe at
the Adena Medical Center Gift Shop, E.M. Smith Jewelers and Ivy’s Home and
Garden on North Paint Street.[[In-content Ad]]
