Allen takes oath of office for Board of DD

Linda Allen, a resident of Highland County, took the oath of office to faithfully perform all the duties for the Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities. 

Highland County Commissioner Shane Wilkin administered the oath on Jan. 28 at the scheduled Highland County Board of DD meeting. 

Allen has been an active member of the Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities since 1998. Allen began as the board secretary and served in this position for many years until being elected to the vice president position. She then served as President from January 2009 until 2013, when she was then elected to the vice-president position.

The Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities is truly grateful to the many years of service that Allen has provided to individuals with disabilities and their families in Highland County.
