4 injured in ATV crash
A Greenfield man has been cited for failure to control following an ATV crash that left four people injured in Buckskin Township.
According to the Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District, four people were riding on a four-wheeler Sunday evening on West Fall Road near Harper's Station Road in Ross County.
"The four-wheeler was northbound on West Fall when the driver went off the road, struck a tree and overturned," according to the OSHP.
According Assistant Chief Chad Hamilton of the Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire District, when emergency personnel arrived on scene they witnessed one ATV that was "mangled in some brush and down a ditch."

EMTs located and treated an adult female, and two children, ages 5 and 10, and transported them to Greenfield Adena Area Medical Center. The female was later flown to Ohio State University.
According to the OSHP, the driver, David Creech, 34, of Greenfield, was later taken by a friend to Greenfield Adena, where he was treated for injuries and later flown to OSU.
One juvenile was later taken to Children's Hospital in Columbus, while the other juvenile was treated for minor injuries and released, according to the OSHP.
None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, according to the OSHP.
The Post said none of riders on the ATV were wearing helmets.
Creech was cited by the Post for failure to control the vehicle.
Hamilton encouraged anyone who is riding an ATV to take preventative safety measures.
"You can wear a helmet, be properly trained for driving your vehicle, only ride on the proper trails, and stay off of the roadways," Hamilton said.
