3 more arrested in corrupt activity drug case

The Highland County Sheriff’s Office has reported that three additional suspects have been arrested as a result of a lengthy undercover investigation involving the possession, distribution and trafficking of Heroin in Highland County.
On Aug. 3, seven suspects were arrested after a grand jury in Highland County indicted 11 people on 173 counts involved in heroin trafficking. Seven of those individuals were arrested that day, mostly in the Greenfield area.
The case resulted from a covert investigation that began in November 2010 in patterns of corrupt activity involving a drug pipeline law enforcement says is responsible for bringing heroin into Highland County via Greenfield.
The corrupt activity charges are "intertwined" with cases against nine individuals who were arrested in April in the Greenfield area on similar charges, according to Highland County Sheriff Ron Ward.
The three additional suspects have been arrested:
• Frank Parr, 30 of Greenfield, on nine Counts, including possession and trafficking in heroin including in the vicinity of a school and engaing in a pattern of corrupt activity. Parr was released after posting a $7,500 bond.
• Donna Gilliam, 44, of Wilmington, on 20 counts, including possession and trafficking, and Possession of Heroin, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. She is currently being held at the Highland County Justice Center on $30,000 bond.
• Tessa Everhart, 23, of Greenfield, on seven counts, including possession and trafficking of heroin, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Everhart was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
The Highland County Sheriffs Office is still seeking one individual who was indicted in this case. That persons identity will be made public upon their arrest.
