The 2011-12 Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association announced its All-District 14 girls basketball teams, with eight players earning the honors.

The Hillsboro wrestling team flexed their muscles in the Division II Goshen District meet in the two-day event on Friday and Saturday, winning one individual district championship, placing five wrestlers in the Top Four and placing second overall as a team.

For the second consecutive year, the Indians are South Central Ohio League boys basketball champions; this time, though, they are all alone at the top of the mountain, defeating the Clinton-Massie Falcons 62-57 to win the outright league crown.
