The Hillsboro Lady Indians put up a good effort Friday night, but in the end it wasn't enough for their first win of the year, falling to the Madison-Plains Lady Golden Eagles 55-51 in a South Central Ohio League matchup.

Two area high schools will participate in upcoming Foundation Games to benefit local charities, asking fans to bring canned food items or monetary donations in honor of the Ohio High School Athletic Association Foundation’s community service initiative, “OHSAA Foundation Service Week.”
