Oct. 11
Arrests/Citations

Brock McKinley Jr., 39, of Hillsboro was arrested for failure to appear.

A report was received of a dog bite that occurred in the 100 block of Key Street.

Offenses/Incidents
A business in the 100 block of South High Street reported a theft.
Oct. 16
Arrests/Citations
Bobbie Cooper, 55, of Hillsboro was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Cade Colvin, 21, of Sardinia was cited for expired operator’s license and assured clear distance ahead.
Cecelia Rose, 35, of Hillsboro was arrested for misuse of a credit card.
Jeremy Sprague, 36, of Williamsburg was arrested for failure to appear.
Crashes
A report was received of a crash that occurred in the intersection of North High and Somers. After officer’s investigation it was determined that a vehicle operated by Katelynn Whitenack of Hillsboro was stopped waiting to turn when a vehicle operated by Cade Colvin of Sardinia allegedly failed to stop and swerved and hit a pole and then the passenger side of the Whitenack vehicle. No injuries were reported, and a citation was issued.
A report was received of a crash that occurred on North High Street. After officer’s investigation, it was determined that a vehicle operated by Bobbie Cooper of Hillsboro allegedly failed to stop, striking a vehicle operated by Anna Chain of Hillsboro, which in turn caused that vehicle to strike a vehicle operated by Rose Gonalez of Hillsboro. Minor damage was reported to each vehicle. No injuries were reported, and one citation was issued.
A report was received of a crash that occurred on West Collins Street. After officer’s investigation, it was determined that a vehicle operated by Christopher Jenkinson of Lancaster allegedly attempted to pass a vehicle operated by Dylan Humbert of Wilmington, striking the Humbert vehicle. Disabling damage was reported to the Jenkinson vehicle, and functional damage was reported to the Humbert vehicle. No injuries were reported, and one citation was issued.
