Highland County trio named to Div. V All-Ohio soccer teams

The Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association recently released its All-Ohio teams for the 2025 season, with three Highland County athletes recognized for their play this fall.

Lynchburg-Clay senior Elam Faust and Fairfield junior Vivian Henninger were honored for their offensive play, while Lynchburg-Clay senior goalkeeper Caitlyn Collins was selected on defense, all for Division V.

Faust scored 21 goals and added six assists as a member of the Mustangs’ district runner-up team.

Henninger scored 31 goals and had seven assists for her junior season, as the Lady Lions were district champions this year.

Collins ended her senior season with 145 saves, as she had 213 saves for her career. The Lady Mustangs were district runners-up.

Other area players earning All-Ohio honors this fall include Miami Trace senior Landon Burns (Div. III boys), Jackson senior Grady Massie (Div. III boys), Jackson senior Sydney Carpenter (Div. III girls), North Adams senior Beau Hesler (Div. V boys) and Eastern junior Makena Corbin (Div. V girls).
