Land bank announces cleanup of Paint Township property

The Highland County Land Reutilization Corporation (land bank) is in the process of cleaning up adjacent parcels on Heather Moor Trail using state grant funding.
According to land bank coordinator Jason Johansen, demolition on 6747/6749 Heather Moor Trail, Hillsboro (Paint Township) began March 15 by Evans Landscaping. Dave McLaughlin was the operator.
The debris and structures have been cleared from the lot, as seen in the photos below. Contractors still need to put seed and straw down per project specifications.
The Heather Moor parcels — which are owned by the land bank — are among seven properties in the process of being cleaned up using leftover Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program.
