Hillsboro Police Report
The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for Aug. 26.
Royce Ogden, 35, of Hillsboro was cited for failure to obey traffic control device.
Bryan Phipps, 43, of Lucasville was cited for failure to obey traffic control device.
Jimmy Wallace, 43, of Milford was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Samuel Wise, 36, of Williamsburg was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Michael Hamby, 64, of Miamisburg was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
On Aug. 26 at approximately 6:48 a.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a three-car crash in the 100 block of East Main Street. Upon arrival, Jerry Stiers, 34, of Wheelersburg and Hunter Greathouse, 23, of Lucasville were stopped in traffic facing westbound on East Main Street near the intersection of High Street. Shaylen Byrd, 40, of Hillsboro was also traveling westbound on East Main Street and allegedly failed to stop, causing her to strike Stiers in a rear-end type collision. This allegedly caused Stiers to roll into the rear-end of Greathouse’s vehicle. No injuries were reported on scene. Byrd was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
