Hillsboro Police Report
The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for May 9-12.
Donald Allen Jr., 48, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant and cited for driving under suspension.
Tammy Jones, 45, of Wilmington was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Darryl Taylor, 46, of Aurora, Ind. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Jimmy Wallace, 43, of Milford was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Krista Bennington, 45, of Hillsboro was cited for disorderly conduct.
Jerica Heairld, 29, of Hillsboro was cited for disorderly conduct.
Steven Kamer, 55, of Mason, Ky. was cited for failure to obey traffic control devices.
Aiden Price, 18, of Lynchburg was cited for barking dog.
Meranda Saxon, 35, of Hillsboro was arrested for domestic violence.
On May 10 at approximately 4 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a three-car crash on North West Street near Fenner Avenue. Upon arrival, it was determined Sandra Fulton, 76, of Peebles was traveling southbound on North West Street behind Latoya Williams, 34, of Hillsboro and Crystal White, 33, of Hillsboro. Williams began slowing for stopped traffic ahead, while White had stopped. Fulton allegedly failed to stop prior to striking Williams in the rear, causing Williams to strike White. Minor injuries were reported on scene. Fulton was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
On May 10 at approximately 4:38 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to a report of a two-car crash in the area of Harry Sauner Road and Roberts Lane. Upon arrival, it was found that Felisha Smalley, 37, of Seaman and James Tira, 85, of Hillsboro began traveling eastbound on Harry Sauner Road from a stopped position near the traffic light at Roberts Lane. Tira then slowed for traffic ahead when Smalley allegedly did not stop in time causing a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene. Smalley was cited for improper start.
On May 11 at approximately 1:20 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the area of East Main Street and High Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, it was determined Sally Ford, 59, of Hillsboro was traveling westbound on East Main Street behind Brittany Jenkins, 28, of Piketon. Jenkins stopped for traffic ahead due to the traffic light. Ford allegedly failed to stop prior to striking Jenkins in a rear-end type collision. No injuries were reported on scene. Ford was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
On May 11 at approximately 4:37 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the area of East Main Street and North East Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Bethany Holliday, 35, of Hillsboro was turning eastbound onto East Main Street from North East Street with a green signal. While Holliday was making the left-hand turn, Denise Clark, 50, of Peebles was traveling westbound on East Main Street and failed to stop at the red light, causing her to strike Holliday. Minor injuries were reported on scene. Clark was cited for failure to obey traffic control device.
