Hillsboro Police Report

The following is the Hillsboro Police Report for April 18-19.

April 18

Robin Robinson, 52, of Loveland was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Brian Piechowiak, 34, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

On April 18 at approximately 2:57 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department responded to the alley between West Main Street and West Walnut Street for a report of a two-car crash. Upon arrival, Sandra Warner, 62, of Lynchburg was traveling eastbound in the alley between West Main Street and West Walnut Street. Jeffery Leasure, 63, of Seaman was traveling southbound on South Elm Street. Warner allegedly proceeded onto South Elm Street, failing to yield to Leasure who had the right of way, causing Leasure to strike Warner, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Minor injuries were reported on scene. Warner was cited for failure to yield right of way. 

April 19

Melanie Ballein, 42, of Hillsboro was arrested on an outstanding child endangering charge.

Jeffrey Brock, 37, of Bloomingburg was arrested on an outstanding warrant. 

Jeremiah Walker, 40, of Hillsboro was arrested on two outstanding warrants.
