Congressman Taylor comments on Trump address

Congressman Dave Taylor, R-Ohio's Second District, issued the following statement following President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress: “President Trump has already delivered on the mandate given to him by the American people to renew the American Dream and make our Nation secure and competitive once again. Tonight, our country witnessed a strong leader with a clear plan who has taken actionable steps to reverse the damage done by the Biden-Harris Administration’s irresponsible policies and enable American families and businesses to thrive.
 
“I am eager to continue working with President Trump and House Republicans to lower taxes for Ohio families, secure our borders, unleash American energy, keep men out of women’s sports and spaces, and reassert America’s leadership on the global stage. Promises made, promises kept.”
