Fairfield Lady Lions win against Peebles Lady Indians, 13-0

The Fairfield Lady Lions shut out, and won in dominating fashion, Wednesday night by defending their home field in a 13-0 Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory against the Peebles Lady Indians.

Having hat tricks in the win for the Lady Lions were Ella Newkirk and Cadence Saunders, as each player scored three goals apiece in the conference win.

Avery Teeters scored two goals for the Lady Lions, and with one goal each were Hallie Haines, Kiley Lamb, Emma Vance and Kennedy Zink. Peebles also had an own goal.

Saunders and Alayna McIntosh each finished with one save for Fairfield.


BOYS SOCCER: Lions fall to Peebles, 6-1


The Fairfield Lions boys soccer team lost at home on Wednesday, falling to the visiting Peebles Indians, 6-1 in SHAC action.

The Lions scored one goal in the loss, and that was by Daniel Ward. At goal for FHS, Hunter Burns finished with 12 saves.
